Expecting a baby

The latest buzz in the town...We are expecting a baby! Here's the mom with 2 months tummy....



She dutifully eat fruits and drinks juice everyday. Edwin's joke came true. The switch in her toggled and she doesn't have any nausia or vommiting, which she always has every other day before pregency.

Anniversary already

Well time does run... actually fly fast...It is already one year. It is our anniversary. Dhevi was working from home and Ed went to work. Dhevi put some cute cards (not for public..hi..hi) in Ed's bag. He saw it in the train.

And Dhevi got a surprise flower vase from Edwin.




Dhevi made an awesome pineapple cinnamon cake.



We cut the cake and went out for dinner to one of our favorite restaurants...On the borders.

Christmas at the new house

We had a house full of guests for Christmas and New Year. Mom, Chandar, Akila , Niha, Samyu from Philadelphia Palani, Suchi from Delaware Giri Uncle, Uma, Durga from Bloomington came over and stayed at home. They helped to set the things up. Too many cooks...made the cooking(er...decorating) time shorter.




On Christmas Eve we ordered food from Sizzle India. Sudha, Srini, Sahana, Sudharshan came over and went back early. Anand and Geetha came for the dinner without the kids. Then Siva, Sheeba, Pranav, Uncle, Aunty came over. After the food, every one opted for poker and it was an instant hit with the crowd. Akila's family got really hooked and the poker set which was Chandar's Christmas gift didn't help either :)
