Week end full of shopping

One weekend full of Shopping for Dhevi & Sleep for Edwin. Anand Geetha's family expected us by friday evening. Due to a major misunderstanding we reached there around 6:30 on Saturday, thereby upseting the ladies for spoiling 3 hours of precious shopping time. They forgave Dhevi shortly, since she was ok with an after dinner shopping spree. So after dinner, guys sat down for Little man movie and girls (obviously means kids, toddlers, strollers & grannies) started for Kohls. Dhevi got some dresses and X-mas gifts. Back home while comparing who spent most, Dhevi though the no. of items are less, the $ amount was more. We watched the movie "Prime" -Tip of the movie -Don't use Q tips to clean the ears :)

We slept around 3 am and woke up with a headache:( Morning was slow, breakfast, chat, lunch etc. After lunch Ed went to sleep and girls back to shopping. No sooner Geetha saw store closing sign for Big Lots, she was in the store in minutes. This time Sheeba won in the max $ spent contest. After inviting everyone for christmas, we started from bloomington around 8. Once in the car Dhevi slept promptly, leaving Ed to enjoy his drive.

Work on a sunday? Yeah must be crazy

Dhevi's production work completed on Sunday early morning and she was so relieved and tired. We thought of going shopping but postponed it until after more sleep. We got up, got ready and started for yet another shopping trip. First stop was at Carson pirie scott's furniture store...uh uh...it's ok... we are better off without those. Met Ed's colleague and his two sons there. Then to Michaels, while we were looking at some shadow frame for photo/art work, Ed picked up one shadow box (Wait till we post his creation:). It's awesome). Back at home Ed started to put together his shadow box wall hanging and Dhevi off to set dinner. We are making up for all the shopping time we missed. Monday was usual, with a little headache and tiredness. After a nice Dinner we ended the day with the funny Em-Magan tamil movie.

Productive ahem...Production Week

Dhevi's production week...to be honest..it didn't live upto its standards... :) Passat service was due and it has got a fresh battery, oil etc. It seems happy after that. Dhevi arranged all the papers/documents. In the evening after picking up the passat we went to target to pickup some gift for Pranav's Birthday party. Surprise...surprise we made it on time for the party. The history of our punctuality with respect to Siva's house is not something to be proud of.. ;) Anyway Pranav seems to be a big boy now...It has been few months since we have seen him. Anand and Geetha invited us to Bloomington next week and we are planning to make a visit and may be a surprise visit to Giri uncle's house too...!

Exam jam

Ed had a final exam for his Computer Architecture course. So he was busy reading and then writing for the exam. We got bored sitting at home and went shopping in the evenings on both days. We bought a new knife set, glass-wares and few other decorative stuff. For all practical purposes this is a week end spent inside the walls...!
